ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of the general ledger inventory to perpetual inventory
Material variance analysis
Bank reconciliations
Create and sustain continuous improvement environment within Finance organization by establishing and implementing short and long range department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Ensure business continuity in department by developing, implementing and managing cross training programs and identifying functional back-ups within finance department.
Develop action plans and manage projects to meet short and long range department goals and objectives.
Other reasonably related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including generally accepted accounting principles.
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems (specific knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus).
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to participate in group meetings.
Strong personal computer skills, to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and off shifts, is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
